We are recruiting an exceptional operator to command this strategic pillar in its entirety: launching, optimizing, and maintaining the physical infrastructure that enables our schools to fulfill their educational mission. Without functional facilities, no other initiative can proceed.
This is not a supervisory or advisory position. It is a high-stakes execution role supported by capital, timeline urgency, and decision-making authority. You will oversee an SVP and a complete operational team including VPs, analysts, and external partners. Budget allocation and talent acquisition will be under your direct control. Your accountability extends to commissioning new sites, modernizing current facilities, establishing enterprise-wide standards, and deploying AI-enhanced processes that enable faster, more cost-effective, and more intelligent expansion going forward.

What You Will Be Doing
- Commanding the national facilities function: orchestrating new construction projects, substantial facility upgrades, and enduring operational systems spanning 25–30 campus locations
- Building and directing a team structure (SVP VPs support staff), with complete profit-and-loss accountability for the facilities vertical
- Establishing and maintaining enterprise-level standards covering procurement protocols, security frameworks, furnishings, network infrastructure, and campus signage
- Designing and deploying AI-enhanced operational playbooks and service-level agreements that eliminate bottlenecks and expedite each expansion phase
- Maintaining a direct reporting line to the founder while collaborating with legal, finance, and compliance leadership to meet non-negotiable launch timelines
- Advising from a distance — you will hold decision-making authority
- Overseeing isolated, single-location initiatives — your mandate is national and systemic in scope
- Maintaining legacy workflows — you will architect and institutionalize new, AI-powered operational systems
- Awaiting executive guidance — this position leads the expansion effort rather than responding to it

Basic Requirements
- 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Documented success directing complex, multi-location projects under strict timelines with tangible business impact
- Direct accountability for new construction, major facility enhancements, and operational infrastructure at national or international scope
- Practical experience managing retail construction rollouts and/or enterprise-scale maintenance operations, where launch preparedness and process standardization were business-critical
- Confirmed ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-caliber teams, with full responsibility for budgets and P&L performance
- Outstanding capabilities in structured analysis, stakeholder coordination, and executive communication
- Proven capacity to perform with speed, independence, and ownership in rapid-growth or private equity-supported settings
- Authorization to work in the United States and availability for travel approximately 25% of the time
- Experience establishing or expanding regulated, multi-location enterprises
- Professional history in education, retail, or healthcare growth initiatives where facilities infrastructure was a core dependency
- Demonstrated success creating and rolling out AI-powered operational frameworks
