Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete a full academic day in approximately two hours using adaptive software. No classroom lectures. No traditional textbooks. Your role addresses what technology cannot: developing life skills in Pre-K through 8th grade students—public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange. You will spend half your time facilitating hands-on workshops guided by structured playbooks and narrative techniques. The remaining half involves individual and small-group sessions where you examine student progress through Coachbot analytics in adaptive learning applications and drive them toward achieving 100% of weekly objectives. Mastery is demonstrated through Test2Pass assessments, not attendance-based grading.
This position is selective. During your first year, you will internalize the playbook: workshop facilitation, motivational coaching, mastery verification, and maintaining 100% goal completion standards for all students. What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skill workshops covering public speaking, concentration, teamwork, and constructive feedback, adjusting your delivery and intensity across Pre-K–8 developmental stages
- Conducting daily individual and small-group motivational sessions to examine student performance in adaptive learning platforms (via Coachbot analytics), establish objectives, and drive 100% weekly target achievement
- Administering and assessing Test2Pass evaluations to verify genuine life skill mastery rather than mere participation
- Implementing focused interventions when students experience academic setbacks or engagement declines—identifying underlying issues and creating recovery strategies
- Cultivating authentic connections with each student to establish trust sufficient for effective coaching through resistance, distraction, and confidence challenges
- Providing lectures or conventional academic instruction (core subjects are delivered through adaptive applications, not by you)
- Developing lesson plans or original curriculum (Alpha supplies life skills playbooks; your responsibility is dynamic execution through energy and narrative)
- Handling parent communications or administrative functions (Campus Leads manage these areas; you maintain focus on students)
- Evaluating homework or preparing students for standardized testing (these elements are absent from our model)
- Operating independently (you function within a campus team including Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who exchange feedback and maintain mutual accountability)

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 3 years of direct experience with Pre-K–8 students (in teaching, coaching, counseling, or youth program leadership capacities).
- Demonstrated experience motivating or coaching Pre-K–8 students toward academic, behavioral, athletic, or extracurricular objectives, with at least one concrete example you can articulate (the objective, your actions, and the result).
- Receptiveness to a coaching-exclusive model where academic instruction is delivered entirely through the learning platform. Your function is motivation and guidance, not core subject teaching.
- Daily application of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
- Availability for in-person work at Alpha's Springfield, MA campus (relocation assistance provided).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship requirements.
- Background in youth sports coaching, camp leadership, or after-school programming where you held direct responsibility for motivating children toward defined goals.
- History of exceptional personal achievement (academic distinctions, competitive athletics, or leadership positions requiring sustained excellence).
- Innate storytelling capability: you can maintain Pre-K–8 student attention for an hour without volume escalation.
- Success engaging disengaged or resistant students and converting them into active contributors.
- Experience supporting students who receive special education services.
