What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-2 students, coaching them and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists
• Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
• Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement
• Monitoring student development and identifying concerns early, then adapting approaches in partnership with your team
• Building a classroom environment that is structured, engaging, and deeply personalized
  
  

Basic Requirements

Kindergarten Teacher key responsibilities

• Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational, afterschool, coaching, or comparable settings
• Strong storyteller and dynamic speaker: capable of capturing and maintaining the attention of young children in group settings
• Capable of maintaining high expectations for yourself and students, and motivating children to achieve their goals
• Growth mindset and receptiveness to coaching
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
