What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Client Relations, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Many enrollment positions focus purely on throughput. This position is designed to uphold standards.
Alpha is constructing a school model of significant ambition. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students regularly outpace national learning benchmarks—the results are measurable. Afternoons are reserved for deeper exploration, independent work, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends entirely on enrolling the right families.
This is where your role begins.
You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a single campus, from initial outreach through family onboarding. This is not a role where responsibilities are divided. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how well they comprehend the model, and whether enrollment occurs for sound reasons. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when it is the appropriate course. The objective is not volume maximization. The objective is fit.
We welcome applicants from premium client-facing environments outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, high-end hospitality, executive concierge services, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, multi-phase engagement with discernment, precision, and accountability.
If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where reputation, trust, and experiential quality define success, this role will resonate—only here, the impact is measurably transformative.
This is a salaried, full-time, on-site position. We are currently hiring across La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, and South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided.
