What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Admissions, Alpha (Remote) - $100,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- Remote
- W2 in the US or Contractor in Canada
- $100K/yr
Alpha students complete core academics in two hours daily through AI-powered platforms, then dedicate the remainder of their time to developing real-world capabilities: entrepreneurship, public speaking, and resilience. We are positioned to open 25 new campuses by the close of 2025, and each begins with a single critical interaction — the admissions experience. You will shape that experience.
This is a premium, concierge-level engagement designed for HNW/UHNW families — not a transactional process driven by paperwork or standardized scripts. You will guide the complete admissions journey for your assigned families, from initial contact through transition, providing elevated service throughout. You will assess incoming inquiries, support families as they evaluate their options, and deploy AI tools to eliminate administrative burden so you can concentrate on what drives outcomes: connection, conversion, and credibility.
You will be the catalyst who transforms a cautious parent into an enthusiastic champion, and the professional a family remembers when their child excels. If you are seeking a position where sophisticated service intersects with rapid execution, and where AI represents a foundational principle rather than industry jargon, submit your application now.
What You Will Be Doing
- Guiding the complete admissions process for designated families with professionalism, empathy, and precision.
- Evaluating inbound inquiries from HNW/UHNW parents through thoughtful questioning, CRM intelligence, and AI-driven insights.
- Serving as the sole point of contact for all parent correspondence, meeting coordination, and ongoing communication — maintaining a concierge-level standard irrespective of enrollment outcome.
- Employing AI tools and CRM platforms (such as HubSpot) to streamline task management, automate outreach sequences, and minimize administrative effort.
- Following scripts or inflexible procedures — this position demands discernment, sophistication, and interpersonal acuity.
- Navigating bureaucratic obstacles — you will not be constrained by interdepartmental sign-offs or dependent on others to move forward.
- Coordinating campus tours, open houses, or admissions programming — your value is realized through direct engagement, not event management.
Execute a refined, high-conversion admissions experience that secures family confidence and supports Alpha's national growth strategy.
Basic Requirements
- 3 years in a client-facing capacity with documented conversion performance (e.g., admissions, luxury sales, philanthropy, executive recruiting).
- Demonstrated success managing high-stakes or emotionally complex interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- CRM proficiency (preferably HubSpot) and experience overseeing multi-phase processes from inquiry through commitment.
- Confirmed ease with AI tools, automation platforms, and workflow optimization.
- Established ability to execute details impeccably — encompassing documentation, follow-through, CRM accuracy, and intuitive discretion regarding internal information.
- Located in the U.S. or Canada with authorization to work independently of visa sponsorship.
- Availability to accommodate evenings and weekends in accordance with family availability.
- Experience in luxury retail, private banking, wealth management, or donor engagement — sectors where confidentiality and refinement are essential.
- Pre-existing relationships or access within high-net-worth family networks.
- Knowledge of Alpha's educational approach or background in K-12 independent education or EdTech.
