This is your mandate.

You will direct the complete enrollment process for a single campus, managing every touchpoint from initial inquiry to final onboarding. This is not a segmented or handoff-dependent position. You own how families perceive us, how accurately they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions stem from informed alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate substantive dialogue, and advocate for "no" when appropriate. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is mutual fit.

We welcome candidates from high-caliber service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, luxury hospitality, executive concierge, premium membership services, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen high-stakes client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to orchestrate a sophisticated, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Chicago, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Southlake, and Houston. Relocation assistance is provided.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Directing the entire enrollment lifecycle for prospective families, spanning initial outreach through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating diagnostic conversations to assess alignment before proposing solutions or advancing to subsequent stages.
  • Overseeing 20 concurrent family engagements across varied enrollment phases, supported by transparent tracking and timely follow-up protocols.
  • Orchestrating campus visits, student shadow sessions, and decision-stage discussions that transparently convey results, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Sustaining precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable accurate forecasting, strategic prioritization, and consistent service excellence.

  • Employing transactional or coercive sales methodologies.
  • Accepting misaligned families solely to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing large teams or navigating multi-tiered approval hierarchies.
  • Fragmenting family experience ownership across multiple functional roles.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-resident.

Director Of Admissions Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that secures aligned families while safeguarding the academic rigor and operational effectiveness of the Alpha model.

Basic Requirements

  • 3 years executing premium, individualized service in contexts where service excellence directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive administration, premium memberships, or entrepreneurial service ventures).
  • Proven accountability for a complete client, admissions, or enrollment pathway spanning first interaction through final onboarding.
  • Track record managing 20 concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, utilizing a structured system for tracking and priority management.
  • Ability to furnish specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you counseled against your offering when alignment was insufficient.
  • Professional-grade written communication experience with C-suite executives, high-net-worth clientele, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Readiness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Oklahoma City, OK, Tulsa, OK, Southlake, TX, or Houston, TX.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background in selective independent school admissions or competitive enrollment programs.
  • History in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level administrative support.
  • Experience designing or optimizing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service quality frameworks.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance enrollment alignment, not merely throughput.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
