This position is designed for high achievers who want to apply that energy toward repairing a failing educational model. You won't be grading assignments or adhering to a rigid syllabus. Instead, you'll facilitate workshops, spark intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate that learning becomes limitless when students take ownership of their education.

What You Will Be Doing

• Serving as a mentor to K-8 students, establishing trust and cultivating a mindset without limits
• Leveraging AI and adaptive learning platforms to tailor educational pathways—students advance at their individual pace while you facilitate exploration
• Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops (including public speaking, goal-setting, and collaboration) that equip students for long-term achievement
• Building a culture centered on curiosity, ambition, and development—supporting students as they discover their capabilities and passions
  
  

Coach Key Responsibilities

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Proven public speaking abilities, with demonstrated capacity to captivate and energize audiences
• A genuine desire to connect with, inspire, and motivate students in grades K-8
• 3 years of experience coaching or mentoring children
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
• Willingness to work on-site at one of our campus locations: Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; or Fort Worth, TX
• Availability to participate in a paid training program held at our Austin, TX campus

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
