What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vineyard Operator / Farm Hand position at CrossKeys Vineyards?
We are seeking a Vineyard Operator / Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating tractors on the farm and keeping farm equipment maintained and clean and tidy. Other farm and winery duties will be required at times.
Duties:
Operate and maintain farm equipment including but not limited to
- Tractors
- Pesticide Sprayers
- Ploughs, mowers and other implements
Maintain Fencing and trellising
Assist with seasonal vineyard and winery work as required
Qualifications:
- some tractor driving and/or pesticide experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus
- Proficiency in using power tools
