Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, coffee drinks, and light food items with precision and care.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems process cash and card transactions efficiently, and handle retail sales transactions seamlessly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, tables, and equipment to meet food safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers quickly without sacrificing quality or friendliness.
- Follow proper food safety procedures during food preparation and handling to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, cleaning workstations, and supporting team members as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service within the food industry; café experience is valued but not necessary.
