Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard in Walnut Creek California for the upcoming school year to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children, at designated street crossings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining traffic control and ensuring the safe passage of individuals.

Times:

1 hour in the morning; 1 hour in the afternoon; 1 hour split shift differential = 3 hours of payment per day when both shifts are worked.

Duties:
- Safely guide pedestrians and students across designated intersections
- Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary to allow pedestrians to cross
- Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and school staff
- Report any traffic violations or safety concerns to appropriate authorities
- Assist in ensuring compliance with crossing guard procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
- Understanding of compliance management related to traffic regulations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
