Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children, at designated street crossings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining traffic control and ensuring the safe passage of individuals.Duties:Safely guide pedestrians and students across designated intersectionsMonitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary to allow pedestrians to crossCommunicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and school staffReport any traffic violations or safety concerns to appropriate authoritiesAssist in ensuring compliance with crossing guard procedures and regulationsRequirements:Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of peopleAbility to follow traffic control devices and safely assess gaps in trafficPhysically able to stand for long periods of time; at times in inclement weatherThorough Background check will be conductedHours:7:45am-8:45am; 11:00am-1:00pm; 2:30pm-3:30pm (4 hours per day when school is in session)Company DescriptionAt Crossing Guard Services LLC (CGS), our mission is to provide dependable, affordable, and consistent crossing guard services to law enforcement agencies, boards of education, and municipalities.
