What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time CrossFit Head Coach position at CrossFit Casual?
Hey y’all, I am searching for a rockstar to become a Full-Time Head CrossFit Coach here at CrossFit Casual in Boise, Idaho.
With the hopes of a possible expansion to a second location, I am looking for a little bit of help when it comes to coaching classes and holding down the fort at our current location.
Primary Responsibilities would include:
- Coaching and covering any required classes
- Programming
- Scheduling
- Basic administrative work
- Making calls and reach outs to possible new members
- Helping with making content for Instagram
- Cleaning and Maintenance around the gym when needed
This is where the role would start, and there would be room to grow as this person gets accustomed to how we do things at CrossFit Casual.
We already have a staff of about 15 coaches, but I am looking for a person to be the backstop for all classes that need coverage. All of my coaches are part time with limited availability, so the responsibility of covering classes currently falls in my lap, which makes the idea of a second gym seem extremely difficult to obtain. This person will help free up my time so that we have the ability to grow.
I am looking for a CrossFit Coach who is a People Person. Someone who knows how to connect with our members, make people feel comfortable, and lead classes at the gym that are a great time.
A bit about CrossFit Casual:
- 6,300 square foot facility located on the edge of Downtown Boise
- 275 members and growing
- 20 total staff members
- 2 workout rooms, CrossFit up front, Hyrox in the back!
- In business for a little under 2 years now, officially opened in January of 2025
- Very active in our local fitness community
Necessary Availability: Monday-Saturday, early mornings, flexible during the day, and late evenings (we’re a CrossFit Gym after all!)
Starting pay: Salary, $50,000 a year, incentive bonuses available
