JOB TITLE: RF Engineer III
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
As an RF Engineer III, you’ll be redesigning mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR while working with other areas of network to ensure performance fixes and initiatives are in place. You’ll play a key role in making sure our customers continue to enjoy the crystal-clear connections and outstanding call performance that we’re known for. Outside of RF Design tasks, you may be involved in traffic engineering for the region. Understanding triggers and prioritization of solutions is beneficial.

- A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in RF design. -Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE and 5G technology.
- Experience in design & optimization of LTE/VoLTE networks.
- Expert knowledge of propagation modeling in Atoll.
- Experience with FUZE or similar database program
- Experience in RF design of LTE/VoLTE and 5G networks.
- Recent ATOLL experience.
- Understanding of LTE network KPIs and key parameters.
- Knowledge of various RF tools such as Mapinfo or post processing software.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, and Tableau including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.

- Primary Focus: Capital expenditure projects involving RF Design for macros, small cells, and in-building systems.
- Scope: Supporting the Southwest region (Arizona) and potentially Southern California (LA/San Diego).
- Duration: 30 -month contract.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Vendor Expertise: Ericsson experience is the #1 priority (the region is an Ericsson market).
- Propagation Tools: Atoll experience is essential.
- Client Systems: Prior experience with internal tools like Fuse and Canvas is highly preferred.
- Productivity: Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets/Docs) or Microsoft Office equivalents for data presentation.
- Client Background: Candidates with prior Client experience are given first precedence to minimize the "ramp-up" period, though it is not strictly required.
- Design Focus: This is a design/planning role, not a System Performance (SP) role, though it involves optimizing the network from a design perspective.
- Ownership: Candidates must act as "self-starters" who take full pride in the network, blurring the line between contractor and employee.
- Communication: Ability to participate in Webex/Zoom meetings to explain designs to customers or management.
- Teamwork: Must be able to follow specific directions and integrate well with the existing team.
Logistics & Schedule
- Location: Chandler, Arizona (Phoenix area). Candidates must be local or willing to relocate immediately.
- Hybrid Schedule: * In-Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- Remote: Monday, Friday.
