Position Overview:
The Systems Trainer conducts a variety of training classes involving several internal and external technology platforms. Training sessions support ongoing training on existing features, new features, and new technology platforms. The Systems Trainer is responsible for system testing and collaborating with the applicable project team to create a rollout plan for new features or platforms. This role develops all training material and supporting resources for live training and the company intranet.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CCM IT to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all internal technology platforms.
- Act as a liaison between departments to obtain updated processes and procedures to create and update training materials and training courses related to internal and external platforms.
- Develop and maintain curriculums for both broad and specialized micro-learnings for internal technology platforms.
- Conduct live trainings ranging from full overview courses to 15–30-minute micro-learnings on specific topics within the library of topics.
- Provide on-demand resources for all internal technology platforms in addition to the written job aids and resources.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to senior leaders regarding the effectiveness and success of the various training programs.
- Develop and conduct training sessions related to the implementation of new software applications, procedures, products, and compliance requirements as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining all related standard operating procedures and documentation related to the internal technology platforms training is conducted on.
- Coordinate training meetings and events as needed, both virtually and in person.
- Assist with additional origination related training sessions as needed.
- Travel to branch locations and corporate headquarters as needed to assist with live trainings, meetings, and events related to the technology platforms.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years of mortgage industry experience.
- A minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in a training role, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent graphic design and technical writing skills to create effective and robust training material.
- Available to travel when needed to affiliate locations as necessary, including out-of-state.
