The Loan Processor ensures accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient processing throughout the loan lifecycle. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with borrowers, real estate agents, attorneys, and underwriting to facilitate smooth communication throughout the loan process.
- Maintain detailed records of all loan processing activities, including inbound and outbound correspondence, logs, and reports.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and other compliance standards during all stages of loan origination and servicing.
- Request and review borrower documentation when requested from underwriting.
- Experience in loan origination or mortgage processing within the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines, underwriting procedures, and mortgage servicing practices.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations to ensure fair lending practices are upheld.
- Proficiency in basic math, including calculations related to loans, escrow accounts, and amortization schedules.
- Excellent credit analysis skills with an understanding of credit reports and financial documentation review.
- Excellent organizational skills with consistent effectiveness in handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Skilled in operating standard office equipment including 10-key typing devices with high accuracy.
Pay Range
- Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $40.00
- This position is bonus plan eligible.
