JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist

SALARY RANGE: $58,000-$70,000/year (depending on location and experience)
REPORTS TO: Talent Acquisition Manager
DIRECT REPORTS: None
JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with our managers to attract experienced professionals to our team. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Maintain recruiting applicant tracking system (Workday) ensuring information is up-to-date for all open positions.
- Source passive and candidates for difficult to fill positions on platforms such as (LinkedIn, Facebook, really and more).
- Create, post and manage advertising needs on a variety of social media platforms.
- Coordinate and conduct phone interviews for candidates.
- Actively managing the pre-screen and background check process and assis as backup in the onboarding for new hires.
- Manage the candidate experience from application to end of training.
- Maintain professional communication and confidentiality with candidates and employees with sensitive information.
- Represent and promote the organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
- Assist with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve process.
- Attend and participate in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events, including travel as needed.
- Process paperwork and/or forms in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure personnel and department information is processed, kept organized, up-to-date, and strictly confidential.
- Responsible for the full life cycle of recruitment, including but not limited to sourcing, advertising, screening, interviewing, selection and background reporting.
- All other tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Recruiting required.
- Onboarding experience preferred.
- Significant knowledge of HR functions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, and industry-specific requirements (DOT/FMCSA regulations preferred).
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, organization, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, etc.
- Ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
