Duties
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to coordinate procurement, inventory levels, and material availability using ERP systems such as SAP and other supply chain analytics tools.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing manufacturing processes, applying lean manufacturing techniques, and supporting process improvement projects.
- Coordinate with plant management and operations teams to align production plans with capacity constraints and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, quality control measures, and process adjustments for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Proven experience in production planning or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems along with familiarity with MRP and supply chain management tools.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement strategies, and quality control practices.
- Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on supply chain analytics and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
