Role Overview:


We are seeking a motivated Tax Accounting Intern to join our Tax Accounting team for the summer. This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate tax and accounting. The intern will support the tax team with administrative, compliance, and accounting tasks while gaining exposure to real-world tax processes and financial reporting.


This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in tax, accounting, or corporate finance to learn from experienced professionals and develop practical skills in tax compliance and accounting operations. This position is based in our Allentown, PA office.


Responsibilities:



  • Update assessor office addresses for all company locations.

  • Maintain and update tax payments in the OneSource Suite for the 2026 tax year.

  • Organize and track ongoing tax notices received from tax authorities.

  • Assist the tax team with preparation and filing of various tax documents.

  • Support basic tax accounting tasks, including learning and preparing journal entries.

  • Perform administrative and data organization tasks related to tax compliance.

  • Tax accounting journal entries

  • Tax account reconciliations

  • Internal and external tax meetings

  • Corporate tax compliance processes

  • Fundamental accounting and tax concepts in a multi-location retail environment


Qualifications:



  • Currently enrolled as a full-time college student.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications preferred.

  • Strong communication and willingness to learn in a team environment.


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation.

  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment.

  • Ability to occasionally lift or move office materials up to approximately 10-15 pounds (such as files or documents).

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and data entry.

  • Ability to move within an office environment to access files, printers, and other equipment.
