Job Overview
Prepares purchase orders for approval, places orders, receives, stocks, inventories, records, issues, and distributes supplies. Delivers and distributes Clinic information and supplies to assigned destinations as needed. Establishes and maintains effective communication channels with departments that foster a team concept. A high degree of coordination and communication between departments is paramount. Maintains patient confidentiality and ensures compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations for a diverse range of materials and services.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, and AS400 to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Conduct direct negotiation with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and reliable delivery schedules.
- Analyze Excel data to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor supplier performance, and support procurement decision-making.
- Collaborate with supply chain management teams to coordinate logistics, inventory control, and production planning requirements.
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends in e-commerce platforms and industry best practices for procurement and merchandising.
- Support inventory management initiatives by monitoring stock levels, reducing excess inventory, and optimizing inventory turnover rates.
