What We're Looking For
The Branch Manager will be responsible for the daily operations and overall success of the banking branch. Directing all operational aspects of the branch in accordance with bank policies. This individual will be responsible for establishing and updating policies and procedures regarding branch activities. Provide training, coaching, development and motivation for branch staff. Develop new strategies to attract new clients and improve branch performance. The Branch Manager will work closely with various departments to provide the highest level of customer service to clients. After 1-2 months, this role will transition into an operations role based out of our Fort Lee, NJ HQ.

Responsibilities:
Branch Manager
- Responsible for the administration, customer service, sales and efficient daily operation of the branch office adhering to all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the cross-selling and delivery of deposit services to bank retail and corporate customers.
- Interact with Senior Management and other Bank Officers to further expand existing customer relationships and develop new business.
- Opens/closes various deposit accounts in accordance with bank policies/procedures, BSA/AML requirements and other regulatory/compliance laws.
- Performs business development activities to cultivate customer relationships and coordinate the referral of opportunities to meet goals of the Bank’s strategic plan.
- Coaches and supervises branch tellers and new accounts staff in sales and servicing activities.
- Serves as the bank representative in the community; actively participating in community events and organizations.
- Creates and implements training programs for every branch staff member using Human Resource and training guidelines.
- Implements and reviews bank policies and procedures.
- Reviews and approves various general ledger reconciliations relating to cash position and teller processing.
- Identifies possible fraudulent or unusual activity and reports such in accordance with Bank policy.
- Exercises proper dual control when required by Bank policy.
- Performs independent counts or reviews on a surprise basis.
- Assists in the interviewing, and hiring of new tellers and platform personnel.
- Assists in evaluating and preparing branch staff performance reviews.
- Assists in projects as assigned by senior management.
- Adhering to high ethical and professional standards.
- Interacting with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction.
- Resolving customer problems/issues as needed.
- Identify areas that need improvement and propose corrective actions that can enhance business operations and leverage growth opportunities.
- Assists all departments as needed.
- Ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and according to policy
- Manage special projects which may involve coordination with other departments
- Act as a liaison with the Operation’s Directors to implement bank initiatives and task across Operations
- Assist with audits and remediation efforts to ensure that mitigations are developed to all audit findings and implement resolutions
- Provide the effective resolution of technical banking problems, conflicts, and issues, ensuring that issues are quickly resolved
- 3 years of banking supervisory or management experience
- Knowledge of banking regulations
- Leadership skills
- Ability to manage and motivate staff
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to take responsibility and make decisions
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize, and delegate tasks efficiently
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Experience growing branch revenues and customer base
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
