What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Cross Point Church?
This isn't just a job, it's a calling. Cross Point needs a Graphic Designer to maintain and execute the design aesthetic of Cross Point, across a range of online and offline outputs. The role is tied to the creation of assets for our Sunday Services, specifically crafting pieces to support the hour on a Sunday. Alongside the practical aspects of the role, there is an expectation to develop, encourage and lead a range of volunteers, through the leadership of the Art Director.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Creative Team to create original design content for Screens, Handouts, Documents and other marketing mediums
- Craft and layout additional support pieces for Staff meetings, Retreats and other internal assets.
- Visually support the ministries of Cross Point including but not limited to promotional material, social media and signage.
- Assisting Art Director (as instructed) with aesthetics and supporting materials for content shots
- Growing, developing and supporting a team of volunteers
Experience
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/ Illustrator / Indesign)
- Strongly disciplined in the principles of design (layout, typography, color theory)
- Must be highly adaptable and possess great time management skills
- A highly collaborative approach to work and creation
- A team player capable of fostering relational influence
- Understands the importance of design practically as well as simply aesthetically.
