What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Crew Member position at Cross landscaping and lawn care Inc?
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Landscaper/Grounds Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of residential and/or commercial properties using a variety of outdoor power equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate weed whackers/string trimmers to cut grass and vegetation in areas unreachable by mowers
- Edge along sidewalks, driveways, and fence lines
- Load and unload equipment safely
- Keep work areas clean and free of debris
- Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet daily schedules
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and repetitive motion throughout the day
- Dependable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Prior landscaping experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person
