LPN – Healthcare Center
Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to become a part of our team and help provide our residents with the highest quality of care. As a LPN working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.
Our current needs include:
- Full-time Evening shift; working 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
- Part-time Evening Shift; working 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.. Weekend and holiday rotation required.
- PRN - Day, Evening and Night Shift; picking up shifts as needed. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

Job Description:
As a LPN, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
- Coordinating, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to maintain the resident’s highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
- Assessing residents for condition changes, administering medications and completing required documentation thoroughly and accurately in an electronic care tracker.
- Supervising and monitoring the delivery of care by CNAs according to resident care plans.
- Monitoring dining activities to identify concerns or changes in resident’s needs.
- Interacting with families and visitors and accompanying physicians on rounds.
Education and Experience:
- Must be licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Post-licensure experience preferred but not required.
- Must demonstrate CPR competencies.
- Evidence of continuing education in line with community, state and federal regulations.
- Must possess quality mindedness, critical thinking, initiative in leadership responsibilities, interpersonal sensitivity and communication skills.
