Role Summary
As a Middle School Career Exploration Teacher (Business certified), you will inspire and support students in reaching their academic and professional goals. You will deliver high-quality, project-based instruction that introduces students to the $16$ National Career Clusters. Working in a supportive, student-centered environment, you will empower every scholar to develop a Personalized Learning Plan, master essential "soft skills," and understand the financial and academic requirements of their dream careers.

- Build Professionalism: Teach the "Success Skills" that never go out of style: time management, collaborative teamwork, professional communication, and digital etiquette.
- Financial Literacy: Integrate foundational business concepts like budgeting and "return on investment" (ROI) as they relate to different educational and career paths.
- Collaborate for Success: Partner with School Counselors and CTE Coordinators to ensure students are prepared for the transition to high school "Pathways" and specialized academies.
- Foster Agency: Help students build their first professional portfolios, including introductory resumes, "elevator pitches," and goal-setting frameworks.
