Position Summary:
Local surety agency is looking for a Bond Assistant to support Account Executives and Account Managers with administrative and customer service tasks. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our surety bond department. The bond assistant will be responsible for processing bond requests and maintaining client records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and responsiveness are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting existing bond processors with daily needs
- Preparing and processing new bond requests using agency or carrier systems
- Processing endorsements and cancellations
- Reviewing bonds for completeness and accuracy
- Communicating with clients, underwriters and internal staff to obtain required information and documentation to support bond transactions
- Maintaining and updating client records and bond files in the agency management system
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely, professional manner
- Support Account Executives and Account Managers with administrative tasks, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of customer service or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Compensation: The base range for this role is $20.00–$24.00 hourly]. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
