School Bus Driver

We are looking for a Bus Driver for our Daycare business. You will be transporting children from home to the daycare, to schools, back to home with a set route and bus. Children range in ages from infants to 13 years old. This position will be for New Bedford, we require knowledge of the city.

You will have a stable route, same monitor, and same kids on your route every day (Monday to Friday).

Hours range from 40 hours weekly (school year) including summertime hours (30 hours).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus following designated routes and schedules.
• Load and unload children at designated stops (door-to-door transportation).
• Ensure the safety of students during transportation, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior for a comfortable ride.

Requires:

• School Bus License, including all necessary endorsements
• CDL (at least CDL-B)
• Knowledge of the area (New Bedford)
• Reliable Transportation
• Able to fully pass and clear a background check
