Key Responsibilities
- Perform bone density imaging studies according to provider orders, adjusting techniques to meet each patient’s unique needs.
- Apply sound clinical judgment in positioning, radiation safety, and dose calibration to ensure optimal image quality.
- Operate imaging equipment with ALARA principles to minimize exposure for both patients and staff.
- Support smooth departmental operations through clear communication, compassionate care, and strong attention to detail.
- Education that meets state and national radiologic technologist licensing requirements.
- Oregon Radiographer License (or Temporary License with permanent licensure within six months).
- ARRT certification required within six months of hire.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
