Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurse position located in an acute care setting. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population with neurological and other medical-surgical conditions on a 4th Floor North unit. The position requires a focus on high-quality patient care, hourly rounding, and effectively managing multiple admissions and discharges within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state, BLS (AHA) certification, NIHSS certification, at least 2 years of RN experience in acute care or telemetry.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro patients, prior telemetry experience, ability to read telemetry strips, and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
- Additional Information: Must pass a pass/fail exam on the first day of orientation, with an 90% passing threshold. Candidate must comply with radius rule (50 miles) and artificial nail policy. Drivers license is required for submission to verify location outside the radius rule. Floating to other medical-surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients may be required. Successful candidates are team-oriented, compassionate, and attentive to patient needs, including serving diverse cultural backgrounds.
