Job Summary:

Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) position available in Santa Monica, California. This role involves supporting a busy acute care hospital with a focus on a wide range of surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, minimum 5 years of relevant experience, certifications including BLS, CST, and NBSTSA; experience with a variety of surgical procedures including abdominal hysterectomy, arthroscopy, colon resection, and more; proficiency with Epic charting system preferred.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in community hospital settings, trauma level II experience, and previous OR charge experience.


• Float: Float rotation may be required.


• Additional Information: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates must include RTO requests at the time of submission. A LA fire card within the last 30 days is required. References covering the past 3 years are required.
