Job Summary:

Sterile Processing Technician position available in Norwich, Connecticut. This role involves decontamination, preparation, packing, wrapping, and sterilization of various medical instruments including orthopedic, neurological, urological, gynecological, plastic, ENT, and general services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Norwich, Connecticut


• Schedule: Days; 8 hours per shift; M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Certifications as a Sterile Processing Technician, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified technician. Must have experience with decontamination, prep/pack/wrap/sterilization of orthopedic, neurological, general, urology, gynecological, GU, plastic, ENT services. Proficiency in SPM computer tracking system, Mako, Globus, Davinci robotics, Endoscope/bronchoscope/probe reprocessing using Steris Medivator and OPA. Experience in case cart picking/supply/transport utilizing Tecsys system. VPRO steam sterilization experience.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.


• Additional Information: Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes of notification for on call weekends and for second and third shift coverage. OT and weekend scheduling are available. Submit candidates in ShiftWise by uploading under "Submission Packet."
