Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Unknown. This position involves performing a variety of nursing functions utilizing the nursing process and broad nursing knowledge to provide compassionate patient care. The role requires assessing, organizing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to meet individual patient needs.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs integrated nursing functions, assessing patients physically, emotionally, and socially, and coordinating all aspects of care according to patient needs. Evaluates patient progress by correlating information with nursing knowledge to ensure goals are met. Collaborates with the healthcare team for planning and implementing patient care.
- Certifications and Education: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; current Michigan nursing license; documented two supervisory reference forms within the last two years; pertinent nursing skills checklist current within one year; consideration given to local candidates within a 50-mile radius for a 13-week contract.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Work history must include recent travel work experience and tele cardiac experience; 2 years of experience is required. Candidates will need to submit appropriate licensing and certification documentation for consideration.
