Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) The organization is seeking a dedicated RN to join the team in a 12-hour day shift position. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and positive outcomes in a clinical setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
- Certifications/Education/Experience: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
- Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/21/2026.
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; participates in patient rehabilitation programs; collaborates with patients/families and the interdisciplinary team; initiates discharge planning and patient teaching; and delegates appropriately. Maintains communication with leadership regarding supplies and equipment; assumes charge responsibilities after orientation; actively pursues ongoing professional development; and contributes to a positive team environment.
