Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Oregon. This role involves providing patient-centered care within the scope defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. The nurse will apply the nursing process, teach patients and significant others, document patient care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Experience in acute care hospital settings and a minimum of 24 months in Intermediate or Progressive Care Units is required.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association); certifications need to be obtained prior to start if not current.
- Education and Licensure: Oregon RN license, or be willing to obtain it.
- Position Type: Contract.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Experience Requirements: 0 years minimum experience; 24 months in Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit or related areas such as telemetry, step-down, PCU, IMCU.
- Responsibilities include applying nursing care plans, patient education, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Submission must include a resume and skills checklist specific to the discipline.
- Certifications must be current or willingness to obtain prior to assignment start date.
- Start Date: 09/15/2026, End Date: 11/10/2026.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
