Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a healthcare organization. This role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery services in a hospital setting, supporting patient care during the immediate postoperative period. The position offers a flexible 12-hour shift schedule with variable start times, including on-call responsibilities and weekend shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with variable start times, 3 shifts per week. On-call duties include 1 shift per week from 2130-0700, as well as 6 weekend on-call shifts lasting 24 hours, from 0700 to 0700.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Educational requirements include current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in post-anesthesia or surgical recovery environments is beneficial.
- Additional Information: The position is for a fixed-term assignment running from September 14, 2026, to December 13, 2026. Experience in pediatric or adult critical care settings is advantageous.
