Job Summary

Telemetry Nurse, located at the organization, will provide specialized patient care for individuals with cardiac, neurological, and stroke diagnoses. This role involves managing telemetry monitoring, titrating medications such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin, and Cardizem, and collaborating within a fast-paced acute care setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications and Skills: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale).


• Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience.


• Position Description: The nursing role involves caring for patients with cardiac, neurological/stroke, and seizure diagnoses, utilizing respiratory therapy equipment like High Flow and BiPAP devices (for troubleshooting only), and reading cardiac strips using GE telemetry monitors.


• Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Additional Information: Orientation consists of 3 shifts. Unit-specific dress code requires navy blue scrubs. Float: Float rotation may be required. Applicants should be prepared for weekend and holiday rotations.
