Job Summary

Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift General Medical-Surgical and Remote Care. Located at the organization, this position involves delivering comprehensive, quality patient care to diverse patient populations utilizing the nursing process. The RN will incorporate educational requirements and competency related to cardiac care for adult and pediatric patients.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; minimum of 1 year of Telemetry or Stepdown experience; current licensure as a Registered Nurse; related healthcare experience; effective communication skills.


• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process; monitor cardiac telemetry; collaborate with multidisciplinary team; ensure patient safety and education.


• Responsibilities Requirements: Competent in telemetry monitoring; ability to float to Medical Surgical and remote units as needed; adherence to hospital policies and procedures.


• Additional Information: The RN will be expected to float to Medical Surgical and remote units, with possible blocked scheduling requests. The role involves working in a unit with approximately 30 beds, patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, and utilizing Cerner electronic medical records.
