Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) located in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital specializing in recovery from severe injuries and illnesses. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with conditions such as stroke, neurological injuries, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The role supports the recovery journey of patients 18 years and older through specialized, individualized treatment plans.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, CNA certification, zero years of experience minimum, for work in an acute care/Rehabilitation setting in a facility with an adult patient population
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience is advantageous but not required
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:6/7 and patient-to-CNA ratio of 1:10/12. Standard hospital equipment such as lift devices are utilized, with no ventilator management required. The Electronic Medical Record system in use is EPIC. The unit primarily treats patients with post-surgical, stroke, cardiac, and hemodialysis conditions. The role requires high accountability, teamwork, patient focus, and exceptional customer service. First day report is at 6:45 AM & 6:45 PM, with scrub colors navy for RNs and red for CNAs. The start date is 08/31/2026, and the assignment concludes on 11/30/2026.
