Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or a valid temporary/interim RN license, or a compact RN license. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. No minimum years of experience specified (but at least 1 year in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred for acute care positions).
- Additional Information: The nurse will perform assessments, develop and revise care plans, coordinate and delegate activities, and document patient care in compliance with policies and standards. They will provide patient and family education, contribute to clinical research activities, and participate in unit or facility shared leadership initiatives. Interaction with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and external contacts is integral to the role.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred. Experience in a progressive care unit is advantageous.
