This position involves providing specialized patient care within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services tailored to adult and geriatric patient populations, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective assessment, monitoring, and intervention. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including experience with Cardiac Telemetry and adult patient populations; proficiency with Epic electronic charting system. Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge and teaching hospital experience, experience managing dysrhythmias, and familiarity with various specialties such as neuro, respiratory, and orthopedic care. Additional Information: The primary duties include interpreting dysrhythmias, managing cardiac and telemetry monitoring, administering IV therapies and blood products, and providing comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular, neurological, and respiratory issues. Flexibility to float within scope across departments and units is required. The assignment runs from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026, with guaranteed hours of three shifts per 13 weeks, including holiday coverage as needed.
