Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role involves providing pre- and post-operative recovery care within a fast-paced, high-volume unit. The PACU team supports a wide range of service areas, including gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, general surgery, ENT, neuro, and pediatric cases, with a focus on teamwork and flexibility. Job Details: Schedule: 40 hours per week with varying shifts including 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., 7:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m., 10:00 a.m. 8:30 p.m., 11:00 a.m. 9:30 p.m. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, 2 or more years of PACU experience, travel experience, and experience working in a larger hospital setting (500 beds preferred). Pediatric experience is highly preferred; training provided for qualified candidates. Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric case experience, strong IV skills, positive attitude. Additional Information: The position requires dynamic team players capable of responding to a high volume of cases, with an orientation period of 3 days for adults and 4 days for pediatric cases. The unit handles approximately 70 recoveries and 95 pre-op patients daily across multiple procedural areas, including cath lab, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and MRI. Everyone works collaboratively without dedicated assignments, and there is minimal downtime.
