Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse in the healthcare setting. This position involves providing direct clinical care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, supporting facility team members, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The role is designed for a short-term assignment, with a focus on patient assessment, planning, and supervision of staff.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing direct patient care, supervising staff, and supporting the facility Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to maintain clinical standards and patient safety.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or similar specialty.
- Additional Information: The nurse will assume responsibility for clinical care on a shift basis, supervise delegated staff, and support the facility's quality and safety initiatives. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/07/2026 and end on 12/07/2026.
