Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Maine. This position involves providing patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, following organizational policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse will oversee the shift, ensuring quality patient care and team coordination.
Job Details
- Location: Maine
- Certifications: Current or soon-to-be current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licenses: Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license
- Experience: 0 to 3 years preferred in PACU or related acute care areas
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Requirements: Must be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- Additional Information:
- If the traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a decrease in hourly rate will apply
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- The organization can cancel up to 3 shifts during a 13-week contract
