Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This role involves providing care in the OR Ambulatory PACU setting, supporting various surgical and neuro cases. The position offers a dynamic schedule with a mix of day, evening, and night shifts, including weekend call responsibilities, suitable for experienced PACU nurses seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 40 hours per week; includes two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts.
- Shift Rotation: One position involves a Day/Night rotation; another involves a Day/Evening rotation.
- Call: Weekend call required, up to three call shifts within a six-week schedule.
- Location: 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). No specific experience minimum required; candidates should have relevant PACU experience of 23 years.
- Additional Information: The role includes managing a case mix that encompasses orthopedics/total joints, neuro, general surgery, gynecology, urology, robotic, and cranial cases.
