Job Summary

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is based in the local area and offers an opportunity to provide specialized patient care in a 31-bed unit. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment delivering high-quality neonatal care, with a focus on supporting fragile newborns and their families.

Job Details

• Position requires a current Indiana Registered Nurse license, BLS (American Heart Association), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.


• A minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience is required.


• Schedule: Days or Nights shifts, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shift hours.


• The candidate may be required to float to appropriate Pediatric or Pediatric Intensive Care Units.


• Orientation will be Monday through Friday during the first week and Monday-Tuesday of the second week, with mandatory attendance for all 7 days.


• Experience with EPIC electronic charting and Pyxis medication administration is utilized in the unit.


• No licensure other than the submitted license is required at submission.


• The role involves patient care procedures specific to neonatal intensive care settings.
