Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing individualized nursing care within a busy acute care environment. The RN will collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient assessments, coordinated care, and health education across variouspatient populations. Job Details Position Description: The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing processassessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluationto deliver patient-centered care. Responsibilities include care planning, patient education, triage, and implementation of nursing interventions. The RN practices within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies, promoting patient safety and positive outcomes. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of practice, ACLS and BLS Certifications, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and ability to work rotating shifts including every other weekend and holiday. Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical units with telemetry. Additional Information: The RN may float to similar Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within the facility. The RN is responsible for patient assessments and interventions, promoting safety, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
