Job Summary:
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the area of Johnstown, PA. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical floor within a healthcare facility equipped for adult patient populations. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts and is suitable for candidates with minimal experience looking to further develop their clinical skills.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week from 10/12/2026 to 12/26/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 0 years of experience, ability to work all shift times including days, nights, and mids, competence in dysrhythmia; will be required to pass a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on day one of orientation.
• Preferred Qualifications: NIH (National Institutes of Health) and Swallow Screen certifications are preferred, neuro experience is ideal.
• Additional Information: Must be available for holidays as scheduled. Training for facility-specific protocols and certifications will be provided during orientation.
• Unit Information:
  • Number of beds: 22
  • Patient ratios: 5:1 or 6:1
  • Equipment: Mindray vital sign machines, GE EKG, cardiac monitors
  • Electronic Health Record system: EPIC
  • Supervisor: Stephanie Nolan, MSN, RN
  • Patient population: Adult
  • Common diagnoses/treatments include CVA, TIA, seizure, urinary, respiratory conditions, rarely cardiac issues.
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; unacceptable attire includes hoodies, t-shirts with wording or pictures, facial piercings.
