Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Nights MS unit with Neuro patients. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, focusing on patients with complex needs. The nurse will coordinate patient care utilizing the nursing process, participate in patient education, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); 0 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of experience preferred Preferred Qualifications: N/A Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: The role involves bedside point of care testing, care planning, discharge planning, participation in performance improvement activities, and effective communication systems. The nurse will assess patient needs, develop care plans collaboratively with patients and families, and identify discharge needs and cultural considerations.
