Job Summary:
A Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Appleton, Wisconsin, at a healthcare facility recognized for excellence in nursing home care. This position involves working 8-hour evening (PM) shifts over an 8-week contract period. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
- Schedule: 8-hour PM shifts, guaranteed 40 hours per week, with rotations every other weekend and as needed for holidays. Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 2 years of Long Term Care (LTC) experience; completion of at least one contract preferred; associate degree or certificate required.
- Required Qualifications: Must have worked in LTC/Assisted Living and Rehabilitation Skilled Nursing Facilities; charting experience with EPIC strongly preferred; travel experience strongly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: A completed contract is preferred; associate degree or certificate.
- Additional Information: Local candidates accepted; 8-hour unbillable orientation provided; scrub attire is black (no hats or hoodies; scrub jackets okay); facility-specific poison ivy; contact/Call Back requirements are not applicable; a variety of interview days are available, including Monday through Friday; shift type is 8-hour mids for 8 weeks.
