Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) Berlin, WI. This position involves providing patient care in a skilled nursing home setting for a 12-week contract. The RN will deliver skilled nursing services for long-term care and rehabilitation patients, adhering to clinical protocols and ensuring quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Qualifications: WI RN license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum of 2 years of RN experience required; long-term care experience highly preferred; acute care experience accepted in lieu of LTC.
- Schedule: 12-hour days shift, guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- Experience: Recent long-term care experience required, including post-acute care and wound management, following physicians orders, PIV insertion, and blood draws.
- Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care, managing wound care, following physician orders, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Orientation: 5-day orientation consisting of 1 day onboarding and 4 shifts with a preceptor.
- Additional Information: Ability to float to Peabody Manor (40 miles), with experience in charting using Epic and Pyxis highly preferred.
- Shift Notes: 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend rotation, and as needed holiday rotation.
