Job Summary:
Obstetrics registered nurse (RN) caring for laboring patients and providing fetal monitoring, with the ability to care for mother/baby dyads and OB triage. The role includes responsibilities in a post-partum floor setting, with preferred experience in sick/transitional nursery and circulating in cesarean sections. Candidates with scrub experience in cesarean procedures are a plus. The position is located at the night shift, requiring availability from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900 - 0700, 36 hours per week. No guaranteed hours; overtime after 40 hours.
- Required Qualifications: MI RN license, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), C-FMC (Fetal Monitoring Certification) or C-EFM or AWHONN certification, and 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient Obstetrics, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), STABLE course.
- Additional Information: EMR systems used include Oracle PowerChart and Fetal Link. Hospital scrubs are provided. Candidate must be Ishihara Compliant for color vision testing.
